Merlyne grew up in the Caribbean, in an environment where beauty and skincare are natural, simple, and respectful of the body. There, skin is pampered without artifice, with gentle gestures and essential products. As she grew older, she noticed that outside of her roots, many skincare routines had become overly complex, overloaded with products, steps, and difficult-to-follow instructions.
